Abstract: (1340 Views) |
The purpose of this study was to present a paradigm model of institutionalization of academic extracurricular sports activities for student (prospective or future) teachers of Farhangian University. The present study was conducted using a qualitative method with an exploratory nature and Grounded Theory systematic approach, which is based on guidelines proposed by Corbin and Strauss. The study statistical population included experts in the field of sports management and relevant officials. The purposeful and snowball sampling methods were used for sampling for interviews. Data collection tools and methods were semi-structured individual interviews, and the interviews continued until theoretical saturation (11 interviews). For data analysis, a systematic approach including three main stages of open, axial and selective coding was used. The results of open, axial and selective coding showed the identification of 138 open and 25 concepts. The categories were categorized according to the Strauss and Corbin paradigm model in the axes of causal conditions, contextual conditions, intervening conditions, action and reaction strategies, and consequences. The results indicate that program-oriented and institutionalized recognition of extracurricular sports activities at the level of Farhangian University will have major consequences in the development of psychological well-being, leisure management and reduction of behavioral abnormalities in various dimensions. |
